1What the product is

PrimeReports is a phone app for roofing contractors in the United States. A roofer stands in front of a house, and clicks Use My Location or types the address, and in a few seconds the home will be evaluated. The app gives him:

The roof measurement — total squares, pitch, number of facets, ridge and eave footage. No ladder, no tape measure, no drone.
A material list with quantities — shingles, nails, felt, ridge cap, trim.
A finished bid for the homeowner, priced from the roofer's own per-square rate, under his own name or logo.

Today a roofer either climbs the roof himself or buys a measurement report and waits. Our competitors will charge as much as $350.00 per month, or about $50.00 per evaluation. He loses hours, and sometimes loses the job to whoever answered first. This app lets him hand the homeowner a real price before he leaves the driveway.

2How it works, step by step

1. Type the addressThe roofer enters the house address. The app finds the property and pulls satellite and street imagery.

2. The roof is measuredThe app reads the roof from the imagery and returns squares, pitch, facets and linear footage.

3. Materials are listedQuantities for everything the job needs, with a waste factor he can change.

4. The bid goes outHis rate times the squares, his logo or his company name at the top, sent to the homeowner.

There are three tabs at the bottom of the app: Home (run a new roof), Jobs (every roof he has saved, and the bid for each one), and Shingles (photos of real shingle colours he can show the homeowner on the spot).

3Price

What the roofer pays

His first 5 evaluations are free — no credit card, no setup fee. After that it is $24.00 per month, unlimited evaluations. He can cancel any time. Because the trial is free, there are no refunds.

4Test it yourself — use this address

The app measures United States roofs. You are not in the United States, so you must type this address every time you practise:

Do not tap "Use My Location". That button reads the phone's GPS, and your phone is in the Philippines. There is no US roof there, so the evaluation will fail. Always use the address box and the address above.

Your free account includes 5 evaluations. Use a few on the address above until you can do it without thinking — run the roof, look at the squares and pitch, open the material list, set a per-square rate, save the job, open it again from Jobs, and build a bid. Leave yourself a couple of evaluations so you can demonstrate it live on a call.

5Put it on your phone like an app

There is nothing to download from an app store. It installs straight from the browser and then opens full screen with its own icon:

6What to say to a roofer

Lead with the time. "You can price a roof from the driveway in about a minute, without getting on it."

The price is small. $24 a month, unlimited roofs.
The bid is his. His logo or his company name on it. The homeowner never sees our name.
Never promise what it does not do. It is not an insurance adjustment, and it does not inspect the inside of the house.
